New B2B Trade Fair for Camping Entrepreneurs in Germany – the CampExpo
On October 28 and 29, 2025, the first CampExpo will launch in Mainz. The B2B camping trade fair aims to become the new industry meeting point for campsite operators, service providers, suppliers, and other camping experts.
Whether it’s service, technology, sanitary facilities or rental accommodations, sustainability, access systems, guest management, marketing and online bookability – the challenges for camping entrepreneurs are increasing. CampExpo aims to provide a forum for all areas of successful camping management, bringing together site operators, service providers, and suppliers.
The new trade fair for innovative campsites and solution providers
The initiators of CampExpo are themselves experienced experts in camping solutions: Dietmar Jankowski from c1:Manager and Thomas Arnold from schranken.de see great demand for the new trade fair.
In an interview with CampingImpulse 2/2025, the organizers explicitly do not see themselves as competition to the North German Camping Day or the Bavarian Camping Day International. Rather, Arnold and Jankowski want to offer camping entrepreneurs and exhibitors a meaningful addition to the camping days with CampExpo.
While the camping days do have accompanying specialist exhibitions, their scope is limited, and association work and lecture programs dominate. As a result, camping entrepreneurs and exhibitors often lack the time to get detailed information and exchange ideas. CampExpo wants to close this gap.
The first purely B2B trade fair for camping entrepreneurs in Germany
On over 2,000 m² of exhibition space, camping entrepreneurs will find numerous providers of infrastructure, technology, service, and digitalization at CampExpo. Exciting specialist lectures, hands-on workshops, and the outdoor exhibition area round off the broad trade fair offering.
The trade fair date and the central location are also well chosen: CampExpo will take place on October 28 and 29, 2025 at the Pyramide Mainz. The event center is located directly on the A60 motorway, offers over 300 free parking spaces and 20 charging stations for electric cars. Those arriving by train can reach the Pyramide Mainz by taxi in just 15 minutes from Mainz main station or in half an hour from Frankfurt.
Sale of limited tickets begins in April
Hannes Felix Müller from the agency TourTouch, co-responsible for the CampExpo website, says: “CampExpo is the B2B trade fair for everyone who operates, develops, or supplies campsites – and of course you want to be part of it. You can already feel during the preparation: something is happening! The exchange with exhibitors and campsites is full of energy and ideas.”
The industry expert adds: “The official ticket sale for exhibitors will start in April. Then, the limited allotment of visitor tickets for campsite operators will be released.”
