For more than 20 years, ECOCAMPING has advised and supported campsite businesses in developing and improving their environmental and sustainability management. Its work addresses practical aspects of campsite operations, including energy and water efficiency, waste prevention, biodiversity and fair working conditions.
The ECOCAMPING award is granted to campsites that demonstrably meet its defined criteria and successfully complete an independent external audit. Under a valid licence agreement, awarded campsites can use the ECOCAMPING logo and participate in the ECOCAMPING network, which offers opportunities to exchange experience, access technical information and attend seminars.
