Revolutionizing Marketing with AI: Tools, Budgets, and Strategies for a Smarter Tomorrow
We are witnessing a historic turning point: Artificial intelligence has reached a stage where it is triggering genuine and tangible disruption in our society. All areas of marketing and communication as we know them are also affected – from conception to creation and development. It is no longer a question of whether, but how we want to understand and use AI. And how we can meaningfully integrate it into our work and products.
Designing a climate risk strategy for campsites in Valkenburg, Limburg, The Netherlands
We are looking forward to a presentation by Vita Kralj about « Designing a climate risk strategy for campsites in Valkenburg, Limburg, The Netherlands ». Camping offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, and with the right sustainable practices, it can be an eco-friendly and enriching experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.
New kids on the lot: “Ahoi Camps” – Reaching new target groups with simplicity
Jens and Markus are two of the founders of the “Ahoi Camps”. Their aim: An Ahoi-world that offers natural campsites for every taste – by the sea, by the lake, in the mountains. The Motto: if you know one, you don’t know any. All “Ahoi Camps” are unique. They are individual and stand out in the campsite market. But as fundamentally different as they are, they all have the same Ahoi-DNA. With their combination of modernity and closeness to nature, they are aimed at all camping fans who love something special in a simple setting.
Even within the framework of a classic camping business, there’s room to innovate. Learn how you can adapt elements of their modern simplicity to attract younger audiences, diversify your offerings,
and create a unique identity that stands out in a competitive market.
SMARTCAMP: Leading Smart Camping Innovation in Europe
The SMARTCAMP project represents a pioneering initiative to implement an intelligent platform for data management and analysis in campings, transforming them into Smart Tourist Destinations. Led by the Girona Camping Association, which represents 16% of Spain’s campings and is the only province with more camping places than hotel beds, this project aims to optimize management, enhance guest experience, and increase profitability through data-driven decision making.
The presentation will cover the two main components of IoT Infrastructure (Energy Management, Water Management, Waste Management, Weather Station Integration, Security) and Tourist Intelligence (Advanced data analytics platform integrating CRM/PMS systems, Behavioral analysis and personalization capabilities, Integration with European Tourism Data Space, Real-time market intelligence and pricing optimization, Sustainable resource management)
We’ll showcase our implementation at La Ballena Alegre camping, demonstrating how this technology backbone is transforming camping operations and guest experiences.
