These trusted systems provide comprehensive evaluations based on facilities, services, and overall quality, helping campers find the perfect spot for their next adventure. Every year our independent campsite inspectors travel across Europe to assess some 2,000 campsites for those aspects that are considered most important by campers.

ANWB Classification of Small Campsites:
To better serve campers who prefer small campsites and to highlight these campsites optimally in ANWB, a specific classification model has been developed for campsites with up to 60 pitches. This model considers aspects important to small campsites, such as privacy and extra-large pitches, while giving less weight to aspects less relevant to them. This ensures small campsites can achieve the maximum score when compared with other small campsites.
The adapted weighting of the performance criteria:
Sanitary: 50% | Grounds: 30% | Eating & Shopping Facilities 8% | Recreation 4.5%
